Information Design „Unter Wasser“

This project presents a complex topic in an engaging way through visuals and inter-
active elements, resulting in a DIN A3 brochure.

We explored the legend of Atlantis and the 
1362 flooding of Rungholt to compare myth with historical facts.

I learned how to present layered information effectively, combining visuals with content for clearer communication.

Magazine „Umschwung”

As part of Typografie/Bild/Layout, we created
a magazine on sustainable packaging, focusing on both design and material choices.

We developed the layout, visuals, and content, while collaborating with companies and
paper manufacturers. The goal was to highlight the impact of packaging waste and explore sustainable solutions. 

I learned to manage time efficiently and maintain quality under pressure.

„Dear Diary”: A Mixed-Media Project on Speaking and Silence
The 33rd edition of our university magazine “Format” is titled „Sag was!“ This issue 
invites readers to engage with the theme of "Speak up or better remain silent?"

We created a mixed-media piece titled Dear Diary, exploring the idea of hidden emotions and encouraging honest self-reflection.

Inspired by personal conversations, we chose 
the diary format as a symbol of vulnerability. Handwritten text, scanned pages, and layered media were combined in Photoshop to create 
a raw, emotional visual.

This project deeply inspired me. It opened up new creative possibilities I’m excited to pursue further.

Documentary „Goldschmied – die Kunst des Handwerks”

For our film class, we documented a local goldsmith’s design and crafting process. After planning interviews and scenes, we filmed in 
his studio and later synced external audio with the footage. 

I learned the basics of filming, editing, and color grading using Adobe Premiere.

Music Visualisation „Can You Hear The Music”
We visualized a music sequence using basic geometric shapes to represent instruments and 
key elements, choosing Can You Hear The Music by Ludwig Göransson for its variety of instru-ments. After exploring each instrument and their interactions, we developed animations in AfterEffects.

For me, the biggest challenge was using an unfamiliar program, but I learned to push through setbacks.

Datavisualisation – „Gewalt an Frauen“The project focused on developing a dynamic, chronological visualization using abstract geometric shapes and a systematic color scheme. 

For my data visualization, I compared violence rates against women, focusing on key elements like the number of victims.

Created in Figma, each clickable triangle leads 
to deeper levels of data, with a focus on female victims.

The biggest challenge was thinking of areas 
as abstract shapes instead of associations.
